Same mains-voltage isolation rules as the single-channel version, times four — keep the COM/NO/NC screw terminals physically separated from the 5V logic side of the board.
Variants
A 4-channel board is the economical choice as soon as a project needs to switch more than one or two loads — it's cheaper per channel than buying several single-channel boards. If only one load needs switching, the 1-channel module keeps the footprint smaller; if the load switches very frequently or audible clicking/contact wear is a concern, a solid-state relay is worth the extra cost per channel.
